Hi! My name is Laura and I love to create innovative and educational development and management programs for engineering teams.My passion for managing teams and helping others succeed is what landed me the responsibility as the Engineering Enablement Manager. From overall management of the Bounteous apprenticeship program I developed at Bounteous to creating process improvements, coaching, and development, this position has created a unique opportunity for me to connect with my fellow team members and help grow Bounteous into a leading digital experience agency.In 2019 I wrote a thesis on the subject of AEM Screens and Beacons and created a solution for interactive, in-store user experiences that can attract new and repeat customers by utilizing both of these tools. This became the basis of my submission for the Adobe AEM Rockstar in 2020. I became a semi-finalist for my work and I can’t wait to continue to create and implement new and exciting experiences like this in my career.In 2020, along with another team member, I created the first Bounteous apprenticeship program. I developed the general and front end training materials for the 3 Front End apprentices and created processes that can be implemented for anyone new to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This included organizing and leading check-ins with the teams that are coaching the apprentices, hosting daily meetings with all 6 (Front End and Back End) apprentices.Within my current role, I am working to improve the processes for the apprenticeship program while expanding it across other departments at Bounteous to continue to expand the educational pool within our team.My technical skill set includes responsive web design, website optimization, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), HTL, HTML, CSS3, SCSS, LESS, jQuery, Vanilla JS, ES6, React, Angular, SQL, Java, Webpack, Maven, Git, Human-Computer Interaction, IT Security, Project Management, Git, Firebase, IntelliJ, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, SketchUp, JIRA, and Confluence.If you want to chat about AEM, front end development, or Bounteous, message me on LinkedIn, I would love to connect!
