About Laura Hack

I have a range of experience in both local government and the not-for-profit / voluntary sector, particularly in operational and project management. I have also worked in the fields of economic development, education, social policy and partnership development. Currently, I am Project Managing the development of a former high school site into housing and leisure. This is part of a five year leisure centre redevelopment programme, as well as working on a range of shorter term projects for East Suffolk Councils, mainly based around assets.I have a breadth of practical skills in running projects, troubleshooting, comms, event management, producing publicity materials, staff development, quality standards and managing budgets. Having started my career in education, I am a firm advocate of life-long learning and skills development.In 2011 I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Voluntary Sector Studies, taking this to a Masters in 2021 in Project Management. Specialties: I particularly enjoy project management, research and report writing. I am well versed in managing budgets and bid writing and have an interest in impact assessment. I am experienced in partnership development and supporting relationships between the public sector and external partners.
