During my educational career, I have actively trained, supported, and implemented best practices, policies, procedures, and compliance across Pre-K - Secondary settings. I have personally offered direct instruction, resource services, inclusion services, and consultation to assure academic and behavioral success for students. Being a strong believer in proactive initiatives, I have assisted with development of functional behavior assessments and behavior plans across schools, classrooms, and individual students. Training in Multi-Tiered System of Supports and Response to Intervention, best Inclusion practices, and individual teacher and staff development have been a passion of mine because I firmly believe that a well-trained staff will produce the most success with students, providing differentiation across curriculum in order to address the needs of all students. Education IS Power, and teaching is not a job; it is a calling.
