Freelance Senior Account Executive at Kazoo; working with brands such as Samsung, Disney and Cotswold Outdoors.

Working alongside the Press Officer for Homeware to generate maximum press coverage. Daily duties included liaising with press to proactively place product as well as dealing with product and image requests. Other tasks included sample and showroom management as well as working with the Central Buying Office to ensure efficient product placement to ultimately drive sales.On a seasonal basis I assisted with lookbook photo shoots and external press shows; taking on the logistical elements as well as coordinating product and liaising with the media at the events themselves. Whilst at House of Fraser I was able to create a solid list of contacts within the interiors industry and build the relationships to form professional friendships with many key members of press; both the contacts themselves and this invaluable skill has accompanied me throughout my career within PR so far.

I worked at Next alongside the Press Officer for Homeware for 3 months (maternity cover). Here I had my first experiences with creating lookbooks, dealing with press and generally assisting with day-to-day duties. It was an incredibly beneficial experience and gave me a great understanding of the industry as well as allowing me to gain key contacts within the media and build on relationships vital to my role.
