About Laura Hersee

I am currently a Human Resources Manager at Elgin Recycling. I do a little bit of everything in the HR field including: new hire orientation, recruiting, assisting with terminations, workers comp, tracking and reporting hours, assisting with payroll, administering write ups and reviews, and assisting employees with all company offered benefits (Health insurance, 401K retirement accounts, life insurance).I also write a monthly company newsletter informing employees about changes within the company, company statistics, and employees accomplishments and announcements. Along with all my other duties I also manage the company's Verizon Business phone account.
