I work in a free-standing evaluation and treatment center, seeing between 6-9 patients a day (average about seven), doing patient admissions, prescribing their medications, assessing their physical condition, ordering and following their labs, going to court to testify if they need a 14 or 90 day detainment, writing reports, and deciding when to discharge them. I work with a treatment team including two social workers, RNs, a co-occurring disorders specialist, and a psychiatrist.

I saw patients in my outpatient private practice office, doing counseling, sometimes psychotherapy (including EMDR) and of course prescribing and managing my patients' medications. I closed my private practice at the end of August.

I provided psychiatric medication management to inmates at a 1900 bed male correctional facility.

I provided patient education groups to four wards, including the two admission wards
