Winner of 2017 Employee of the Year Award.As the Operations Assistant for the Vicenza Veterinary Treatment Facility my primary goal was to provide exceptional customer service to Clients and Patients while managing other front end staff. Daily tasks include the creation and management of the appointment calendar, management and training of reception staff, fielding phone calls while simultaneously performing client check-in and check-out.

As a University Program Associate my primary goal is to connect potential donors with the college through the scheduling of Gift Officer visits. Daily tasks include cold calling of alumni prospects, record keeping using a prospect tracking database, and management of several Gift Officer calenders.

As a Client Services Representative it is my primary goal to interact with clients in a professional and compassionate manner. I work daily to coordinate communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and clinicians within the hospital. I also efficiently facilitate appointment scheduling for clients and prospective clients of the hospital through the Internal Medicine and Emergency Services. Secondary tasks for this position include client admission and checkout through the UVIS system, coordination of faxed information through an electronic fax server, and providing information to the general public about veterinary medicine.

As a Laboratory Assistant my primary function was the weekly operation of the laboratories' Tritrichomonas foetus diagnostics service. My job duties included extraction of DNA from feline fecal samples using the Zymo fecal extraction kit, multiple-step polymerase chain reactions, and gel electrophoresis to determine the presence of T.foetus DNA in the submitted submitted samples. During this position I learned to adhere to laboratory sterilization and sanitation protocols.

As a Veterinary Assistant my primary goal is to assist the veterinarian with the care of the patient. An important secondary duty in this position is to foster a positive and educational environment for the client to discuss their pet's current medical conditions and possible treatments. I am proficient at client check-in, patient evaluation, communication of vaccination and preventative care plans,venipuncture, radiography, surgical monitoring, post –surgical care, animal restraint, dental cleanings, sterilization techniques, and running laboratory tests.

As a Dolphin Care Intern my primary goal is to assist trainers in sessions where dolphins are trained in husbandry behaviors. Secondary tasks include creating Environmental Enrichment Devices to stimulate mental function, interacting with the public about animal care, safety, and species information. Additionally I worked with trainers during veterinary examinations on both dolphins to gather weights, fecal and gastric samples, urine and blood collection, and ultrasound images.

As a Veterinary Assistant my primary goal is to assist the veterinarian with the care of the patient. An important secondary duty in this position is to foster a positive and educational environment for the client to discuss their pet's current medical conditions and possible treatments. I am proficient at client check-in, emergent patient evaluation,prolonged monitoring and patient care, venipuncture, radiography, surgical monitoring, post –surgical care, animal restraint, and processing laboratory tests.
