I've organized events in multiple industries for the past 10 years and I’m still amazed at how powerful they can be. Bringing people together is what life is about. Professional events, when done right, can advance an entire industry within a few hours. I have a great passion for creating unique and effective events that can be used as a huge marketing tool, and I’m always open to hearing how they can be improved to create a higher ROI for everyone.I started my events career with Untraceable Events and Marketing which has given me some of the greatest experiences of my life. I've organized mega tech events in cities such as Chicago, New York, Nassau, Sydney, Rome, Bangkok, and of course my home Toronto. My role here has included overseeing all onsite logistics, press & media coordination, marketing plans, sponsor coordination, run-sheets, AV, floor plans, catering, & more. It's here where I co-founded Canada's Largest Web3 Event, Blockchain Futurist Conference, which has been running for the past 6 years and has reached 7000+ attendees, 1000+ developers, 250+ speakers, 200+ partners, & more. I've also co-owned a cafe and catering company called Caterable, an incredible opportunity to work with the City of Markham and cater their events like Apple fest, Canada Day, and Staff Appreciation Day. We also serviced their entire City Hall and 10+ offsite locations for Markham, Unionville, Milliken, and Thornhill. The experience from owning my own business and venue was extraordinary. Being an Event Manager at ventureLAB for a year contract gave me a ton of experience in the tech, startup and NFP world. I coordinated all events across the organization and worked with all departments to guarantee founder success and improve partner relations. This includes being the lead organizer of their AGM, Info-Sessions, Partner Roundtables, Founder Graduations, Government Delegations, & more.I also managed all their offsite events like their Hardware Night, and the 3rd Annual HardTech Summit and Pitch Competition Gala 2023. I helped take this 150 person event at their office, to a sold out 2-day 900+ event at Toronto Marriott Markham Hotel. Stats include 50+ speakers, 30+ expo booths, 20+ partners, 8 Competing Companies, $50,000 in pitch competition prizes, a sold out gala, and more.I've learned that I love to working in tech, marketing, and events. I have a huge passion for taking brands to the next level and I’m looking forward to the next chapters of my life to see what experiences I can add to this description in the future.
