I am currently an independent form f assessor

Here I worked as a social worker on the duty and assessment team. I worked with families under child in need, child protection, looked after children and deal with court proceedings. I have experience working with children from pre birth to 18 years old. I have utilised my skills in direct work so I am person focused.

I worked in a nursery as a Senior Nursery Nurse and Deputy manager. I therefore have up to date knowledge about children, their development in all areas and legislation surrounding this. Working in this role allowed me to work with many different types of families and ensure I have great partnerships with them. As I am a senior member of staff I help to deal with any extra support different families may need, and have the knowledge of any referrals to different agencies that may need to be made
