As a dedicated cancer researcher with a PhD in Tumor Biology, my journey has always been fueled by a deep commitment to bridging the gap between innovative science and patient-centered care. Over the past nine years, I've immersed myself in the complexities of rare and hard-to-treat cancers, working relentlessly to uncover new therapeutic avenues that bring hope to patients who need it the most.My experience at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies has allowed me to contribute to pioneering research in telomere biology, aging, and cancer. Working in an international and cross-functional team, I’ve not only expanded my scientific expertise but also developed a strong foundation in translating complex data into impactful results. These efforts are reflected in my published work and contributions to the scientific community, where I strive to make a difference one breakthrough at a time.My role as a Lead Community Outreach Volunteer with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has further shaped my approach to science. Engaging directly with patients and healthcare providers, I've seen firsthand the urgency of delivering new treatments and ensuring access to clinical trials.
