Professional experience with Food Safety/HACCP in the poultry industry. Extensive knowledge of writing and proper implementation of HACCP plans, SSOP, Audit, Manufacturing, GMP's, and Sales practices. Managed and trained employees in manufacturing setting. Worked closely with plant employees and USDA, oversaw microbiology lab. Knowledge of various pathogens and testing protocols for fresh poultry products. Extensive knowledge of poultry industry from hatchery through production. Been a classroom teacher for the last 10 years--educating over 1200+ students to date in middle school science and high school Biology.
