Presently, my law practice is based in family law and real estate law. In the past, I have contracted out my services to other companies and law firms in need of additional legal help. This has been on both short-term (several months) and long term (three years) intervals. Since September 2015, I have practiced law as an independent contractor for PCN (Professional Closing Network). I enjoy my work with PCN. South Carolina requires that an attorney be present at all real estate closings. There is a good reason for this requirement. Real estate closings are complicated proceedings. I am able to explain to the borrowers the "legalese" which weighs down the closing documents and clear up any confusion they may have.Prior to contracting with PCN, I did legal work for a sublimation ink company. This work involved searching for patent infringements of their products and contacting those who were involved in those infringements.I have also worked for the SC Insurance Reserve Fund and been involved in the defense of state entities.

Volunteer to represent clients who cannot afford an attorney. I handle civil and family court cases.
