• Responsible the oversight of an assigned asset portfolio of distressed Real Estate Owned (REO) properties. • Fully accountable for the management, leasing and operations of a geographically diverse retail portfolio, including engaging and oversight of 3rd party management and leasing teams. • Lead in the successful transition of the takeover of on average 12 assets per year from loan to owned real estate. • Conduct detailed inspections and market analysis for all collateral to establish comparables and property value. • Direct all aspects of asset performance, determining and implementing strategy to maximize value for presentations to Committee, Senior Management, Ownership, rating, Agencies and Investors. • Oversee a variety of property types including office, regional malls, power centers, mixed use and unanchored strip centers totaling 85 assets with 10.5 million square feet (averaging 2 - 3.5 million square feet/year).Notable achievements while in the position has included:- Increased the value of a 136,000 SF anchored retail center from $5.6M (12/2015) to $13.4M.- Negotiated and executed 67 leases totaling 275,440 square feet of retail space with annual revenue of $4.2 million in 2018 while also executing 50+ license agreements.- Negotiated and executed 40 leases totaling 251,013 square feet of retail space with annual revenue of $4.06 million in 2017 while also executed ~50 license agreements.- Negotiated and executed 51 leases totaling 559,000 square feet and $5.4M in annual revenue in 2016. - Negotiated and executed 45 leases totaling 255,793 square feet of retail space with annual revenue of $3.1M in 2015 while also executed 54 license agreements.- Oversaw the completion of $2.6M in capital improvements including complete elevator modernization in addition to roof replacements and standard improvements. - Underwrote 49 new CMBS loans secured by 6.3 million square feet of commercial real estate valued at $1.2B.
