As the Communications Officer at Cottee Parker, I support our team in marketing, project, and bid endeavours. Reporting to the General Manager, my responsibilities include:- Deliver high quality published responses for expressions of interests, pre-qualifications, tenders, proposals, presentations & award submissions nationally including:- Coordination of bid team, both internal & external - Coordination clarification questions - Design & layout of indesign document, diagrams, illustrations and photography - Analyse briefing documents to ensure responses being created respond implicitly to questions- Ensuring all proposals are formatted and comply with brand guidelines, client requirements and all bids are submitted on time & fully compliant- Ensuring consistency of written and visual style across each submission- Maintain ‘go/no-go’ approval process for new opportunities - Monitor & review tender portals for new opportunities - Work with leadership team on capability statements and pre-commissioning presentations- Provide graphic design services to support project requirements and offer value adding visual communications solutions to teams in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth- Maintain & manage marketing drive & tender library, ensuring all material is up to date including templates, brochures, CV’s and project sheets- Assist with updating QA documentation including policies, procedures & templates- Produce print & digital marketing assets including advertising, corporate stationery and eDM's- Maintain & update company website - Manage, create and post content to social media and new page- Ensure all design material complies with brand guidelines- Assist GM in providing marketing related support for corporate events & sponsorship- Liaise, manage & obtain quotes from photographers, printers, copywriters & publications

Growcom delivers services across the entire horticulture industry and represents Queensland’s fruit, vegetable and nut growers. In my role as Graphic Designer at Growcom, I designed all of the company’s marketing and advertising material. This encompassed print and digital artwork for memberships and promotions, brochures, flyers and corporate reports for various Queensland-wide horticultural projects, EDMs, infographics, social media assets and the producing the company’s monthly magazine, Fruit & Vegetable News. I was proud to undertake the task of redesigning Fruit & Vegetable News, during my time with Growcom. The updated magazine was well received by members and industry partners and is the current style of the magazine today. As part of an agreement with Growcom, I also undertook design work for the Queensland Farmers’ Federation (QFF) – working with project managers on corporate reports, digital and print artwork for various projects including Reef Alliance and Rural Jobs and Skills Alliance (RJSA). The work I did was always from conception to completion: from drafting initial ideas through to pre-press for print and preparation of web-ready digital assets.
