I provided support for Foundation programming through professional writing, project management and supporting the senior project manager in maintaining project deadlines. My primary focus was on the Foundation's scholarship, award, grant and fellowship programs. Process improvement was at the fore.I also served as a preceptor for dietetic interns rotating through the Foundation as part of their supervised practice experience.The Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of the AND and is the only charitable organization devoted exclusively to promoting nutrition and dietetics.

I was responsible for supporting the AND Foundation team across a wide array of projects related to Second Century, Future of Food and FNCE 2017 (Chicago).

Medical Dietetics Concentration

After beginning as an intern, I was hired as Human Resources Manager at Synergy HomeCare. I oversaw and engaged in the entire employee lifecycle process, from prescreening to termination. - provided coaching, interdisciplinary measures and positive feedback to employees as necessary. - developed recruiting partnerships through recruiting events and delivered job talks at certified nursing assistant schools. - audited employee files as per Department of Health regulations and processed unemployment claims. - assisted the Client Care Coordinator in scheduling, re-staffing and client care activities as necessary. - for 1 week every 3 weeks, I staffed overnight on-call hours in addition to office hours.
