Net assets increased from $314,000 to $1,090,000 from 2003 to 2017. Responsible for major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, grants, special events, a capital campaign, and marketing. Designed, wrote, and created print and online materials: web copy, e-mail marketing, annual reports, annual appeals, and newsletters. Researched and wrote grant proposals, grant reports and created supporting materials. Created effective strategies to increase foundation, corporate, and individual giving. Was also responsible for database management, agency budgets, and assisted with audits, and strategic planning. Ensured compliance with local/state requirements for nonprofit agencies. From July 2002 to July 2003: Worked part-time grant writing, grant research, created supporting materials to package with proposals.
