Companywide point person for all operational activities involving futures and OTC products traded on Gas, Oil, Power, Freight, Weather, Emissions, Interest Rates, Treasuries, Indexes, and other various products.• Developed improved operational processes and procedures to optimize workflow efficiencies, while ensuring accuracy of all trading and reporting activities. Coordinated with IT to automate tasks to further increase staff productivity.• Managed a team of 9 staff members (2 in NYC office, 7 in India satellite office) tasked with reconciling positions on a daily and monthly basis for all Futures and Energy strategies. Oversaw Journal Entries to the General Ledger to ensure proper reflection of changes in market values, P&L, and cash activity. Coordinated with multiple departments and external auditors to finalize investor financial statements on a monthly and yearly basis. • Researched, engaged, and monitored Prime Brokers and other vendors to ensure quality service and cost efficiency.• Familiar with procedures and products at multiple exchanges, including New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Nordpool, EEX, D-Cypha, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), Eurex, LIFFE, Hang Seng, Tocom, CBOT.
