My main ongoing responsibility was to analyse data from LiveKindly's various social media platforms (particularly Facebook, instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest) to determine different variables and their effect on Impressions, Engagements and Engagement Rate. I was often responsible for deciding which data to analyse in order to provide information for our sales team or for the monthly report.Another duty I had was to engage on social media on behalf of LiveKindly. I was responsible for developing and posting social media content that was targeted for different audiences and groups.Towards the end of my position, I undertook the responsibility to work alongside my supervisor in developing the social media report for the previous month.I took the initiative to create a document explaining step-by-step how to develop the monthly social media report. I believe that this document was necessary in order to make the process of building the monthly report as efficient, thorough and routine as possible. I undertook quite a lot of responsibility in the internship to teach myself how to use different data analysis tools and I achieved a level of knowledge that granted me respect and value as part of the team.My internship with LiveKindly was completed by November last year. I was subsequently offered a position whereby I would be trained to undertake half of my supervisor's responsibilities, however, the difference in timezone, and other distance-related obstacles became too challenging to overcome.

About Life is a health food supermarket and cafe. I began working at About Life as a Barista in the cafe and was later promoted to Duty Manager of the store during the afternoon and evening. The Duty Manager position had many responsibilities include banking, balancing tills, delegating tasks to junior staff, dealing with customer enquiries, closing down the store after hours, organising cool-room/dry stores, cleaning, occasionally making coffee and closing the cafe. As I was in charge during my shift, the position required personal drive, initiative and trustworthiness. It also required strong social skills, not only in managing junior staff, but also in customer service in regards to resolving any problems or dealing with any enquiries. During my time as Duty Manager, the company was going through an openly challenging period which certainly developed my skills in prioritising tasks and managing staff.

Provided feedback on students' essay drafts and ideas, helped fellow students including ESL (English as a Second Language) students with academic writing. The role required interpersonal skills, strong academic writing skills, and mentoring skills. I completed training before commencing as a peer mentor in order to develop these skills.
