I founded LR Design during my senior year of college and have grown it into a successful woman-owned small business serving those who seek unique, custom-made art. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree from The Graduate Theology Foundation (Indiana). While I love to create all different kinds of beautiful artwork, I especially enjoy painting with acrylics and oil, and re-purposing and decorating used household items (furniture, windows, hardware, hinges, and knickknacks). I have a passion for creating liturgical art, which includes seasonal banners (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, etc.), altar clothes, and other items of sacramental significance.I’m always open to new ways of highlighting the beauty of ordinary things through fabric, fiber, beads, wood, glass, clay, tile, paint and miscellaneous other objects.
