Beyond my visual and design skills, I am an excellent communicator. I understand the importance of being able to work autonomously in a fast-paced agency while balancing internal dynamics alongside client demands. From a hard skills perspective I am familiar with the full Adobe suite of graphic design and illustration software. I consider myself a well-rounded candidate with the proficiencies required to excel in any position. I have exceptional creative and analytical thinking skills. I know how to perform in-depth customer research in order to determine how best to serve an audience. I am aware that I still have a lot to learn, but I am confident that I have the skills necessary to design creative and successful design/social media strategies that will support your company goals. By nature, I am extremely detail oriented and possess strong project management skills. I know how to orchestrate the creative direction of art initiatives, while also making sure we stay on time and under budget. My expansive skill set includes crafting creative roadmaps, scouting photo shoot locations, setting the creative tone for projects, and orchestrating pop-up events. I have strong visual and typographic sensibility and have an expert level understanding of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.In a previous career I was a licensed Cosmetologist and 15 year veteran in the Beauty Industry. For the past 8 years I have been a Educator for TIGI, one of the leading companies in the Industry. In 2010 I was chosen to be apart of the TIGI Creative Force Team. This team is made up of the countries most talented and educated Colorists. This team is in charge of: In Salon education, Advanced Education Classes, Technique and Collection Education, as well as 3 National Trade Shows a year. TIGI Copyright Colour was launched in 2012, and extended my market outside of Michigan. For the past year I have been traveling and sharing the TIGI Love to Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Chicago. 2012 I was the TIGI Photographic Award Winner for the Colour Category. Within 6 months of relocating to New York city, I was voted Top 18 Colorist by Refinery 29.
