As Director of Marketing & Outreach in Kansas and member of the Kansas chapter's management team, I connect people all across the state to nature. I design and implement strategic marketing, communications, and engagement plans that inspire Kansans to take action in support of nature. Tactics and tasks include digital marketing, social media, media relations, volunteer programs, graphic design, writing, print publications, strategic communications, elevating brand awareness and visitor services.

In addition to previous responsibilities, I was also an Implementation Partner to ensure success of a new constituent relationship management system.

After five years in a donor relations position, I transitioned to a program managment role. I led projects to develop and implement a comprehensive major donor stewardship plan and an analysis of the Conservancy's protocols for calculating and reporting acres protected in Kansas.While maintaining a small portfolio of key donor relationships, I also:Served as Executive Assistant to the Director of Philanthropy; Coordinated the prospect tracking process and associated data management and reporting for the Kansas fundraising program; Developed and coordinated appeals, renewals, and annual giving programs for Kansas; Served as lead user of the fundraising management system to produce donor reports, perform analysis and research, and track prospects and donors; Processed all gifts and monies received at the office; Designed and composed printed materials such as progress reports and annual updates; and Provided coordination and project management for all Kansas events and tours to ensure event success.

I am thrilled to serve as a liasion between the innovative work of The Nature Conservancy and the generous and engaged donors who support it.Day to day duties include: Active cultivation of major gift donors in Kansas; increased personal fundraising by more than 100% for first three years; capital campaign administrator; leads department budgeting process annually; event coordinator; research, write, and design highly-personalized proposals to major donors

Instrumental in developing the Private Duty division of Douglas County Visiting Nurses. Wrote policies and staff handbook and coordinated licensing application and all required support materials for Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Once licensing was obtained, participated in marketing efforts, including cold-calling, to build clientele. Hired all initial home health professionals, led staff training and orientation, and maintained personnel records. Met with initial patient/clients to assure completion of all necessary paperwork, visit documentation, and accurate clinical records.

Began as administrative assistant and assumed increasing responsibilities, leading to Director of Administration providing direct administrative support to Executive Director, Director of Development, and Director of Operations while responsible for all administrative and operational support for a multi-faceted community arts organization.
