I'm a dedicated and involved student interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources or similar departments. I anticipate graduating during May of 2026. It's easy for me to find purpose and interest in my work, and I'm always up for a challenge. At James Madison University, I find as many ways as possible to support my peers. As a Hall Director, I help first-year students transition to an on-campus lifestyle and support them during crises and conflicts. I'm a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a service fraternity for which I was previously the Public Relations Chair. Members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha like myself help create a positive community within James Madison University through volunteerism and community engagement. My university coursework has helped me develop my career interests. I've been most intrigued by classes relevant to interpersonal skills, business analytics, and computer information systems. I'm looking forward to future coursework relating to management and administration. Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn!

Undergraduate Hall DirectorJames Madison University Jan 2024 - PresentHarrisonburg, Virginia, United StatesAs an Undergraduate Hall Director, I manage a building of over two hundred first year students as they transition to a college environment. I supervise a staff of six Resident Advisers and help them develop teamwork, event programming, and community development skills in their position. As a Hall Director, I'm able to improve supervisory, crisis management, and building management skills. I manage and track my building's budget for community events. I review all building reports written by my staff and ensure the incident is being handled properly. In addition to building reports, I track maintenance requests made by my staff until the issue is taken care of. Less commonly occurring tasks I perform include: key audits, scheduling fire drills, and inspecting dorms so that they adhere to building policy and fire marshal standards. -
