2017 – PRESENTEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BREAKTHROUGH T1D MOUNTAIN WEST CHAPTERResponsible for creating an atmosphere where chapter staff and volunteers succeed in partnering to meet JDRF's mission. Lead, manage and grow the chapter's revenue generating capacity as well as develop high level volunteer board. Lead annual planning, budgeting, implementation, and execution of all activities in a three-state chapter area (Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.) Led chapter through COVID-19 impacts that included furloughs and reduction in force while ensuring commitment to mission, service to the type 1 diabetes community, and exceeding core fundraising goals.

Provide executive leadership and support to 16 markets in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

Planned, organized, directed, and evaluated the fundraising efforts of the Great West Region. Recruited, cultivated, and led the Denver-based Leadership Board. Provided management support to and representation of over 20 staff members across a nine-state region.

Responsible for the oversight and successful execution of mission and fundraising activity in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. Supervised staff in all departments including administration and operations; fundraising and special events; and mission delivery. Managed Arthritis Foundation-owned building in which multiple offices were housed. Recruited, cultivated, and led the Rocky Mountain Chapter board. Successfully managed staff and board through transition and merger to the Great West Region.

Responsible for the advancement and performance of the development department, with direct responsibility for fundraising programs for the entire chapter service area; emphasis on membership, special events, annual and major gifts, foundation and corporate gifts, and planned giving.

Responsible for alumni relations, special event planning, major gifts, and soliciting foundation and corporate support. Served as school spokesperson, wrote, and edited alumni newsletter, and maintained school website. Conceived and wrote long range strategic plan and served as staff and board liaison for implementation. Taught three sections of speech.

Provided management support to and representation of over 90 department members. Led development, implementation and evaluation of all youth and teacher programs. Developed and monitored annual budgets and action plans; hired and evaluated staff. Served as liaison between the museum and formal and informal education providers throughout the region, including schools, school districts, the Colorado Department of Education, institutions of higher learning and other museums. Represented the museum in collaboration with education, arts and culture, and science institutions in developing programming that supported state standards. Served on strategic planning committee.

Responsible for guiding the Museum’s educational offerings and exhibits, maintaining the highest standards of experiential education and appropriate childhood development needs. Recruited, supervised, and evaluated exhibits and education staff members and volunteers.

Taught freshman through senior students in Drama, Journalism, Speech, Photography and Yearbook classes. Advisor for both newspaper and yearbook publications. Coached cross country and track teams.
