For the past 10 years I have been actively involved in the heritage community as a volunteer, employee or student. This has encompassed interpretation and special events with organizations in Canada and the United Kingdom. For Heritage Park Historical Village I was also recalled 4 years in a row for a term assignment with the Curatorial department.As a student, first completing a BA (Honours) in History with a Minor in Museum and Heritage Studies and then a MA with Distinction in Cultural Heritage Management, I was involved in a number of projects with a variety of heritage organizations focused on research, advocacy and resource management.My skills and expertise are:-Collections and exhibit management-Project development and implementation-Development and planning systems-Interpretation and special event programming-Community engagement
