As the City of Tucson’s Equity Data Manager, I lead the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that support the City's strategic goals and initiatives on equity, diversity, and inclusion. With over 15 years of experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and data analysis, I have a strong background in creating and managing web-based data applications and websites that communicate complex and impactful information to diverse audiences.I am passionate about using data visualization and storytelling to transform raw data into meaningful and actionable insights that inform decision-making and improve outcomes. I have successfully led high-profile, public-facing projects that showcase the City's work on enhancing its residents' and communities' quality of life and well-being. A recent achievement I’m proud of is designing and launching the Tucson Equity Data Strategy, a suite of geographic and demographic resources to help staff and community stakeholders used data to advance equity in our organization and across the region.
