Deloitte provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services globally. During my student placement at Deloitte I worked in the VAT department assisting all levels of management, working on VAT specific projects as well as various administrative activities required.I got the opportunity to do comprehensive VAT compliance work assisting with the analysis for VAT returns for clients. I assisted with the preparation of VAT advice for properties in receivership and also got the opportunity to help with consultancy queries also.During my time at Deloitte I played with the Deloitte TAG team, helping organise the team for weekly matches.I also participated in the Deloitte Ireland Innovation Challenge, on a team of four we devised a plan on how Deloitte could attract the best graduate talent in Ireland.
