Provided governance of this retail petroleum organization in a time of rapid growth (up to $300,000,000 + sales) and leadership change. Participated in strategy planning and management. Represented the retail at the AGM of the wholesale organization, Federated Co-operatives Ltd.

As board president (2004-2004) ensured appropriate board governance to safeguard membership assets in a time of large membership growth and increased service provisions .
