Developed, implemented and maintained a multifaceted engagement strategy for new and existing community partners and employers to generate quality experiential learning opportunities appropriate to the interests and academic level of MacEwan students. Supported approximately 900 MacEwan students by leveraging over $1.3 million in federal government funding to support student experiential learning opportunities.

Developed and launched go-to-market strategies with international tour operators to help drive demand for Edmonton as a tourism destination. Planned, developed, implemented and evaluated travel trade distribution channels and sales programs including marketplaces, international trade shows and sales missions, familiarization (FAM) tours, webinars and in-person sales training.

Worked with industry partners to develop comprehensive tourism experiences for international visitors that included implementing key insights and driving localized opportunities in order to grow tourism revenue to Edmonton. Strengthened Edmonton’s competitive advantage by developing a diverse portfolio of export ready products.

Supported conference groups and sport organizations hosting their events in Edmonton. Oversaw and actioned conference and event service requirements for incoming groups such as resources, suppliers, offsite venue options, delegate activities and pre/post opportunities. Created partnerships with conference and event organizers and provided information and resources required to successfully achieve their event goals.

Coordinated, implemented and evaluated drop-in recreation programs for children and youth, including the Green Shack Playground Program and the 124 Street Youth Program. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating a team of junior leaders and program leaders. Developed programs, provided program resources to leaders and approved program plans.
