Direct Responsibilities•To assist in all administrative and judicial procedures for Gloucestershire, Severnside, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, the South West areas for which we were responsible•To allocate fair and equal sittings for all 60 Senior Members and Members to tribunals covering our South West areas. Taking into account travelling time and expenses, keeping this within a reasonable budget. Also the responsibility of keeping up to date with Members availability for each annual quarter •To enter and register council tax and council tax liability appeals. To withdraw appeals from the tribunal’s records and to postpone appeals from tribunals under the direction of the Tribunal Officer•To assist in the maintenance of a reception service and to deal with visitors. To act as first line of contact with external stakeholders and deal professionally with enquiries •To type letters administered by the Clerk and Tribunal Officers•To use excel spreadsheets to input the incoming and outgoing postSupport Responsibilities•To support Administrative Support 2, Clerk, Tribunal Officers and Remote Working Tribunal Officers in delivering an efficient and comprehensive administrative and judicial service for the tribunals administered from the office•To assist the Clerk in the delivery of the statutory responsibilities such as the serving of Tribunal notices; retaining records relating to decisions and orders relating to determinations made by the tribunal; liaising with appointing authorities to secure the timely appointment of members; and assisting in the running for the election process for the appointment of Presidents and Chairman
