Court Room Skills Training for Police and non Police Detectives.

I built up an extremely successful criminal practice starting out covering magistrate cases around the country and ultimately working almost exclusively in cases involving serious sexual offences and vulnerable witnesses both recent and historic. I have conducted cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal both appealing and defending appeals. I am a grade 3 prosecutor and am on the London 'rape list'. I have experience of multi million pound VAT fraud and complex multi handed cases. Before going on an extended maternity leave break I successfully completed numerous historic child abuse cases securing lengthy sentences for the same. I look forward to using these extensive skills in a consultancy capacity.

As Chair of FORSE I represent the residents of 4 Parishes and adjoining Parishes in opposing the building of a New Town of up to 4,800 houses. I Chair the often weekly meetings, coordinate action required and manage an experienced team of professionals (voluntary). I oversee and personally undertake critiques of expert reports and planning applications, preparing the same for submission to relevant planning bodies and authorities. I have appeared before Full Council and Cabinet (SDC) to represent our community and have represented FORSE in front of a Government Planning Inspector at an Examination in Public of Stratford's Core Strategy. I have conducted numerous radio and television interviews as well as appearing regularly in the local press. At the beginning of the campaign I appeared in 'The Independent' newspaper and have also written an article for CPRE's national magazine. This has proved a full time and detailed position involving research into the planning system, legislation and local authority practice. My leadership, media and management skills and been further improved over the last 3 years. Planning law has proved and interesting and challenging diversion from my criminal background.

I worked with a Unit Set Up to Administer The Reconstruction of The Justice System in post war former Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Serbia. The unit were tasked with over seeing retraining Judges and fine tuning the legal system to maintain the old whilst refining and improving the legislation. Duties also involved assisting in editing publications in support of the above objectives and site visits.
