I have recently completed an Early Years PGCE at the University of the West of England and am currently in a long term cover role. Prior to the course I worked as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with global developmental delay. I also worked for a year as a Teaching Assitant at a Junior School. I want to create a classroom in which every child feels valued and supported to develop a lifelong love and enthusiasm for learning. I believe that teaching, particularly at primary level, is an extremely important job, as an encouraging and enthusiastic teacher can make all the difference to a child’s early learning experiences.
