At Metrowine, I took on many of the same responsibilities as outlined below for Acid Inc. Selections. This is the company who purchased my business in 2016, and they needed assistance with a transitional phase. Three months were spent working remotely due to Covid-19.

~Developed and oversaw all aspects of a boutique wholesale wine import & distribution company (B2B) represented in fifteen states, generating $6MM in annual revenue with an annual growth of 20-25% year over year. ~Managed (up to 10) sales reps in NY/NJ & CA on a daily basis, while personally maintaining corporate sales of ~20 VIP accounts; ~Educated sales reps on the philosophies and personalities behind our brands (75 at peak). ~Worked with suppliers in NY market and other states, and translated for Italian suppliers. ~Ensured accurate inventory management/allocations, placement protection, analysis & control of sample usage, and purchasing. ~Held full control of financial and back office operations to enhance profitability. ~Led distributor management, reviewing quarterly and annual goals. ~Managed U.S. Customs clearance, State brand registrations, TTB COLA applications, and compliance with Federal TTB & NY/NJ/CA State Liquor Authorities. ~Optimized ground transport and container stuffing to control costs and maximize profit. ~Managed warehouse relations (in both CA & NJ) & negotiated rates & contracts. ~Organized all facets of annual wholesale trade tasting event with 50+ vendors and 500 attendees. ~Oversaw communication with industry journalists, and contributed to social media campaigns. ~Responsible for accounting, payroll, A/P & A/R, HR, and benefits administration. ~Ensured accurate/timely depletion reporting and analysis to suppliers. ~Organized all facets and chaperoned numerous trips throughout Italy for buyers/clients to visit suppliers.

Led all corporate sales in private dining room, targeting local companies and national event planners, surpassing goals year over year; worked with Chef and Wine Director to create personalized tasting menus and up-sell wine, décor and entertainment amenities. Sold seats, promoted, and hosted guests for an on-going, educational wine dinner series. Collaborated with celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich on her cookbook, Lidia’s Family Table, as part of the recipe creation and testing team.

Supported engagements for this boutique Public Relations agency on key campaigns, ranging from Tanqueray TEN (demographic promotional events) to Mattel’s Toy Fair (event logistics).
