Currently working as Executive Personal Assistant to the Chief Officer for Childrens Services - Devon County Council. My working life started at 15 in customer service (my local pub), where over 4 years I was gradually given more responsibility and ended up training and mentoring new staff.I then moved into administrative work as a receptionist in a busy Veterinary Practice where I was given the responsibility of creating and managing the business social media pages, and organising CPD lectures for vets and nurses.My passion for animals led me into a detour of training as a dog groomer, until I then obtained a role in the public sector in 2015.My public sector career has seen me starting off as an Executive Administrator before being asked to step up as an Executive Assistant, a role I have held since 2017.I am now looking to develop my skills and take the next step in my career, wherever that may lead me.
