In my positon as Director of Business Development I am instrumental in driving new sales opportunities to BWPR; a medium sized design, web development, and public relations firm in Lafayette, Louisiana. Working closely with ownership and management, my goals are to reach untapped markets that would provide growth and consistent revenue through multiple marketing avenues.

At Beau Box Commercial Real Estate I worked as a licensed real estate agent with a focus on the acquisition of income producing properties such as multi-family complexes, office buildings, and retail spaces. My responsibilities included writing and executing leases, property analysis and data aggregation, and property showings. I was influential in developing long term client relationships and implemented a successful marketing campaign that drove new business.

As the Marketing Coordinator with Miracle Ear in Lafayette, Louisiana I developed regionalized marketing campaigns for 22 locations in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. These campaigns included seminars, workshops for patients, doctor education and outreach, regional health fairs, and trade show booths to name a few. My position included generating monthly reports to analyze sales, leads and feedback related to these marketing efforts. These campaigns proved profitable and effective for the business.

My position as sales specialist with Boudreaux’s Compounding Pharmacy afforded me the opportunity to detail doctors in the Lafayette metropolitan area on current compounded pharmaceutical products and their benefits. In this role I hosted lunches, held sales meetings, and met personally with doctors and staff. This involved many face-to-face meetings as well as sales calls to drive business. I also attended out of state compounding pharmacy conventions as a representative of Boudreaux’s.

As a sales representative for Poly Pharmaceuticals I traveled throughout New Orleans and thesurrounding areas to visit doctors and detail them on products sold by Poly Pharmaceuticals. Through extensive sales and product training, I was able to accurately describe products and their uses. I hosted lunches and sales meetings with doctors and staff as well as sales calls. Each interaction included leaving product samples with the offices while keeping meticulous records of inventory and interactions. An important aspect of this position was maintaining accurate accounts of each visit and provided samples.

While working in an introductory role on the the company merger between Valor and Beau Box I was responsible for multiple aspects of public relations. I wrote press releases, created web ads, designed business cards and flyers, and managed social media accounts. My position was important to the public perception and public information surrounding the merging of these two companies.

As the assistant to the director of the foundation my job included facilitating meetings, luncheons, and keeping detailed accounts of the directors interactions in these settings. I also helped with the design and distribution of newsletters while also managing social media accounts for the foundation.

In my internship with BBR Creative I organized media kits, drafted press releases, and developed media pitches. One of the more exciting parts of this position was assisting with the media day for the newly built Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Part of my duties also included managing printed media clips and impressions analytics.
