I was fortunate to spend a semester in Scotland, UK where I gained real-world teaching experience. This rigorous program was vitally important because it helped me to develop adaptability, resourcefulness, and perspective to work with people from a variety of different cultural backgrounds. Not only was I given the opportunity to teach different types of students, I was able to work and learn from a diverse group of adults.
