CPL has strong established relationships with leading wholesalers, merchants, retailers and end-users in the UK, handling around 50% of the UK coal-based solid fuel market.The UK market for briquettes and wood is currently around 100,000 tonnes per annum and growing, driven by an increasing consumer desire to go green, a rising demand for multi-fuel stoves and the implementation of the Renewable Heat Incentive Plus, with the development of biomass heating experts, CPL Renewables, and the manufacturing and constant development of their industry leading smokeless and eco-friendly coals
