I contributed to the ProAlpe project, a multidisciplinary project which involved several Universitiesin Northern Italy, funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Main research lines of the project were:- the analysis of the production chain of the "typical Alpine cheese" and traceability models;- the chemical and microbiological characterization of milk and dairy products;- the characterization of Alpine grasslands. I contribute to the project as Research Assistant. I spent several weeks on a high altitude Alpine pasture in Piedmont (in Valle Stura, CN), collecting vegetation samples, to analyze their volatile patterns. I was involved in experiment decisions and I could learn more about ecology and data sampling. Moreover I gained technical skills and enjoyed the surrounding environment.
