I utilized and further developed my skills with consultation and collaboration, intervention, and assessment. Weekly problem solving meetings allowed for collaboration with other staff members, and I also consulted with parents (using an interpreter when necessary). I co-facilitated social skills groups for self-contained special education students as well as for general education students. In the area of assessment, I completed initial and triennial evaluations often using a combination of RTI data, AIMSweb benchmark data, MAP data, classroom observations, and norm-referenced tests and rating scales when appropriate. I also completed functional behavioral assessments.I provided professional development on the Systematic Screening for Behavior Disorders (SSBD) program, and I was also able to participate in the district's professional development opportunities throughout the school year. I assisted with the district's preschool screening procedures. I have also been presenting an abuse prevention program to students in grades K-5, as required by Erin's Law in the state of Illinois.

I taught and cared for children between the ages of 2 and 3 years old.

I assisted in inclusive elementary school classrooms as well as in a life skills classroom. I utilized small group instruction to support students with learning disabilities. Additionally, I led small groups of English language learners in improving their reading, writing, and speaking abilities.

Evaluated after-school programs in the Boston area, worked with data input and analysis using SPSS, contributed to case studies and presentations.

I cared for children ages infancy through twelve years. I traveled to different classrooms and worked with all age groups. During July and August of 2010, I had my own classroom of children ages six through eight years.

I organized the department calendar, completed various printing, copying, and advertisement errands, and was responsible for some data input and data analysis.

I worked with the Resilience Project, where I was responsible for verifying video recordings as well as copying and processing questionnaires. I also completed the Ethical Principles and Research Program (EPRP).
