My experience at Mary and Friends was vital for my development as an educator. I’ve worked there for two years and as the semesters went by I realize how important it was to have the experience of teaching for it is the core of pedagogy. The methodology applied at Mary and Friends has its basis on Vygotsky - teachers create experiences where the student can learn. So my responsibility was to get to know the student in a way that the class would have the language content in a context close to its reality, creating activities and references that were meaningful in every aspect.

Krones was my first job in the educational sector. I was hired to work at their training center as an intern in training and development. The factory provided several types of technical courses with participants from around the world - especially South America and Europe - and I was responsible for collecting the feedback from the participants as well as the trainers to analyze and search for insights to improve the courses.

I started at Flag as a receptionist and soon started to get involved in other areas. One of my assignments out of the regular reception context was to plan travel, transportation, and accommodation of advertising and audiovisual projects. After a while I became responsible for the travel department of the agency, controlling budgets, and doing accountability. At Flag, I had the chance to get in touch with some other types of administrative processes such as paralegal and corporate governance matters.
