Profile bio

About Laura Bentzen

After graduating college in 2007, I joined renowned consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, where I spent eight years as a management consultant, creating a wealth of client deliverables, managing high-performing matrixed project teams, and advising high-ranking government officials mainly within the defense industry. In 2016, I changed careers because I wanted to be part of the environmental movement, help fight climate change, and protect the planet for generations to come. I felt that I could be most helpful by bringing my management consulting expertise to a nonprofit organization that was seeking major project management and coordination improvements. Since then, I have held increasingly higher-level roles at The Partnership Project, a fiscal sponsor nonprofit, serving as a strategic thought partner and project management guru within the environmental nonprofit coalition space, directly working for senior executives and staff from dozens of environmental and advocacy organizations across the country. Seven years later, I have acquired extensive experience in strategic planning, operations, coalition finance, fundraising and grant writing, executive meeting and retreat planning, and leading and managing special projects.I have spent my entire professional career as someone who builds authentic and genuine relationships with others while working magic behind the scenes, and it is something I truly love to do.

Listed skills include Management Consulting, Program Management, Proposal Writing, Business Analysis, and 21 others.
