Full ownership of the Global group internal controls, risk policies, processes and controls framework. Chaired the Global SOX Steering Committee comprising Howden Global’s CEO, CFO, CIO & FD.● Full ownership of the design and development of Howden’s global Attestation process, alongside training and leadership of SOX within the 6 regions, liaising with regional CFOs/Finance teams and fostering strong commitment through excellent relationships. ● Co-ordinated and controlled the offshoring of routine standardised global activities to Howden’s European Shared Service Centre (SSC) with desired metrics to monitor delivery. Led initiatives to improve Howden’s internal controls management via various software tools including Blackline, Microsoft Teams functionality and Global ownership of Howden’s HSBC Banking Platform.
