As PhD researcher, I am part of the project Water Security for Whom?, which seeks to investigate inequalities across the water-energy-food nexus, focusing on multipurpose reservoirs in Colombia.• Development of a multi-sited ethnography on river-based livelihoods and adaptation trajectories to the impacts of large hydropower dams in Colombia.• Research design and deployment of a range of several qualitative and spatial research methods with local stakeholders. • Qualitative research in the areas of water-energy-food nexus, biodiversity loss and river-basin conservation.• Co-leading interdisciplinary working groups. • Planning and executing extensive fieldwork projects in rural areas. • Budget management. • Hiring and supervision of external contractors and research assistants. • Writing outreach and academic reports, scientific papers and dissemination articles.

• Analysis of key messages and concepts of climate action in Latin America about nature-based solutions, climate finance, and accountability and inclusion. •Writing and editing the technical study: “Compendio: Acelerando la acción climática en América Latina Mensajes de las sesiones del Pabellón de EUROCLIMA+ en la COP26 de Glasgow”. •Designing outreach and engagement strategies for policymakers and technical officers across Latin America.

-Developing workshop conceptualization and content around environmental conflicts and local journalism practices for four regions in Colombia.-Executing workshops for around 25 journalists in two different regions in Colombia. -Disseminating and explaining the journalistic guidebook: 'El medioambiente, un desafío periodístico. Pistas para investigar y narrar historias socioambientales' with targeted audiences. -Mentoring and editing one local story about water conflicts. This guidance included meetings with the journalist, different rounds of editions, desk research, and other editing-related tasks. -This work was funded and supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Colombia.

Develop course material for the Master in Science Journalism regarding environmental narratives and social-ecological conflicts. Preparing and delivering lectures and workshops. Setting and grading assignments and exams.Providing support to students.

-Writing of proposals, reports, and other materials for fundraising purposes about conservation projects in Latin America, with a strong focus on Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.-Supporting of conservation projects planning process.-Development of messaging strategies and knowledge/information managementfor conservation projects related to climate change, protected areas, andsustainable production of water and food.-Co-lead of the Women in Nature local group, with the aim of steering genderperspectives in conservation practices.-Coordination of contributions from multi-disciplinary teams based in dispersedgeographies.

Research assistant in the second phase of The Nature of Peace research project. The research initiave seeks to explore the connection between the peace processes and the ongoing environmental changes and their social and human rights implications in Colombia and Uganda.
