Engineer with the planning section of the Utah Division of Water Resources.

Responsible to explore, develop and present site development alternatives to clients. Specific responsibilities include: Site and roadway grading design. Water, sewer and storm drainage system design for new and remodeled sites. On-site wastewater facility design for remote sites. Preparation of AutoCAD design plans and bid packages for agency approval. Submittal of applications and coordination with municipalities, State and Federal agencies to obtain approvals. Creation of specifications for project bid documents. Conducting construction submittal reviews and on-site inspections.

Created and oversaw distribution of annual Consumer Confidence (Water Quality) Report and other water reports as required by state regulations. Reviewed and acted on city held water rights. Assisted in maintenance and updating of the city's water, sewer and storm drainage master plans and models. Reviewed submitted commercial and residential developments. Administered city's UPDES permit requirements and compiled the annual report. Represented the city as a voting member of the Utah Storm Water Advisory Committee. Conducted field inspections of city owned detention basins and recommended maintenance and design changes.

Designed water, sewer, storm drainage and roads for new residential and commercial developments. Determined quantities for mass grading for single and multi-building project sites.
