Founder & Creative Producer
CurrentBristol Artist-Led Forum launched in February 2020 as a platform focused on supporting the sharing of skills, resources, knowledge, and opportunities instead of competition amongst the Bristol grassroots artist-led scene, whilst holding space for debate around public funding gatekeeping dynamics. In the last two unprecedented years, BA-LF has been very active and busy behind the scenes exploring regenerative relational and economics paradigms such as Horizontal Relationship Culture, Circular Economics, Complexity Thinking and Cryptocurrency systems. We are now interested in exploring how artists can join forces with others in the innovation fields mentioned above we've been building connections with, to support systemic change via co-creation. Besides that, as an alternative to the precariousness of the funding system and in name of autonomy for the arts, we are exploring ways in which artists together can develop/co-create an entrepreneurial mentality - based on conscious economics and abundance distribution - which would allow us to get paid for our skills while providing 'services’ to clients who would benefit from our creative expertise.
