After years of being an exhibitor doing set up, sales, and dismantle for Leviton Manufacturing, I switched directions from electrical to the beauty industry, becomming North American Trade Show Manager for ARTec Worldwide and Wella International. The scope of my work included new product launched,classrooms/education to stage performance set up. My love for the trade show industry brought me to the GNYADA, where for ten years , I was employed as Marketing & Special Events Coordinator for the New York International Auto Show, which has over 1.2 million visitors during the 10 day period. My duties included all special events including opening day, and any event on the inner roadway. Offered a position with SMG, I then became Trade Show Manager at the Carolina First Center, managing the events as well as marketing and promotions.As Director of Marketing & Operations for Just Ducky Tours & Molly’s Trolleys, my responsibilities included marketing, public relations, website management, advertising (outdoor, radio, TV, web and print) media projects as well as community relations projects for both Molly’s & Ducky. Luckily, I am back in NYC, and have for just short of 10 years, worked for Conference Services doing event management / operations for St. John's University.
