Working for the principal consultant and owner of Keystone Regulatory Services, I authored policies and procedures, forms, and work instructions for medical device manufacturing companies that conform with regulatory standards, assessing content from multiple sources to rewrite concepts into clear and concise processes. Additionally, I created FDA, Health Canada, and European Commission submissions for new or updated products according to submission guidelines.

Working with developers, security experts, business managers, and legal counsel, I participated in the development of an end-to-end cybersecurity framework (DOS SSE - Security, Strategy, and Execution) to improve clients' security maturity and protect both their company assets and their customers. Utilizing best practices across multiple regulated industries, I formatted the framework’s structure, creating assessment guidelines, forms, strategies, checklists, and reporting mechanisms. Additionally, I wrote and edited client policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements and developed and delivered information security training for clients.

Benchmark International is a testing, certification, and auditing firm for clients in the highly regulated wood/forest products industry. To help clients understand the regulatory compliance status of their suppliers, I rewrote audit reports and corrective action requests written by non-native English speakers to ensure intended meaning was accurately stated and grammatically correct, while cross-checking auditor observations and summaries to identify data conflicts and gaps. In addition, I created documentation detailing the company’s proprietary audit, testing, and certification programs.

Fulfilling my passion for music, I am a pianist for worship services, choirs, soloists, weddings, funerals, and other special events on an ongoing basis. I am experienced in playing as a soloist as well as in ensembles, orchestras, and bands with fluency in reading music, chord charts, and sight reading. For 14 years, I shared the joy that music brings by teaching piano lessons to basic through advanced students, from elementary age through adulthood.

I created a business case for adding eLearning to existing training strategies to support a new B2B software initiative and was selected to build and lead the Multimedia Training Team. In this role, I managed 7 instructional designers and software programmers during the development and release of over 20 web-based training products. As a hands-on leader, I contributed to the design of animated demonstrations and interactive simulations with remediation, and evaluated training products for instructional integrity and functionality. Additionally, I participated in cross-functional teams for over 12 products to identify training requirements and to ensure that the software development cycle and budget included end-user education.

Building the training center from the ground up, I designed basic through advanced level training curriculum for instructor-led software training classes, specializing in courseware for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet Explorer, and Windows 95. In addition to producing materials for the trainers and conducting classes, I also created end user documentation and reference materials to correspond with the courseware.
