Managed the delegation’s law and policy blog Intercross by writing and curating original content from colleagues and external experts, designing the layout, producing video interviews, developing content strategies, and managing the department's $200,000 budget. Laura also served as one of the delegation's local Ombudsman Relays in providing mediation assistance between staff, individual coaching and support, and advice to senior leadership.

Supported the dissemination of International Humanitarian Law in the United States and Canada through public and private events with academic institutions, Think Tanks, Congress, US Government, and NGO’s. Monitored thematic and geographic files to identify and engage emerging issues of interest to the institution. Strategized and directed congressional staff visits to ICRC delegations in the field in countries such as Colombia, DRC, Haiti, Georgia, Uganda and the Balkans. By interviewing approximately 160 people from these communities, her team was able to help the school focus its resources and energy and ultimately create a unified dream for its future.
