Thomas Ashy, Inc. is a Promotional Products Marketing Company. As the assistant to owner of the company, my main responsibility was to create promotional ideas for our clients. I worked with both the clients and our suppliers to source out ideas and products for various campaigns such as employee appreciation, college recruiting, holiday gifts for clients and employees, promotional giveaways, customer premiums, special events, and various other purposes.

As an Academic coach to two Women's Basketball players and two Women's Soccer players I assist student athletes with managing their coursework and their busy schedules. I work with my athletes to develop better time management and organizational skills, and I also study with them for their upcoming tests, help them to outline, draft, and proof read writing assignments, and tutored them in other subjects as needed.

During this one-semester Marking Internship I gained a well-rounded education in the Location Marketing. LEDA's mission is to provide assistance to local companies in their growth, market development and workforce development efforts; to recruit additional companies considering locating in this area; and to assist in the development of new companies in order to diversify the economy within Lafayette Parish.
