Helped teach the summer Sustainable Jobs Program to teenagers on their summer break - during the pandemic, after their building was burned down in the riots. I taught them how to do solar site assessments, worm composting, how to take care of bee hives, how methane gas affects the atmosphere (cow farts) and more!

Manage the Solar Endowment Program:Create campus solar investment proposals for consideration by university governance boards at four partnering universities. The campus stakeholder engagement will be led by Student Solar Deployment Teams, building off of past program success with the Solar Decathlon and similar student-led projects, providing graduate-level design and project management experience, integrating related competencies into undergraduate degree programs, building student, faculty, and alumni support, and supporting campus-wide goals such as service to community, carbon emission reductions, and associated campus sustainability charters.The purpose of the student-led initiative will be to showcase the investment and programmatic potential of on-site solar energy projects to university governance boards in an effort to generate investment through the university foundation, advance favorable board policies to govern investments in solar assets (both on and off campus), and provide a road map for universities across the country to deploy PV on their campus and make investments that advance their foundation and sustainability goals.

As Managing Director, my duties are diverse. Including, Project Manager of team to write a Renewable Energy Guide for schools in Minnesota. Developed a solar hot water bulk purchase program for the Twin Cities.Lead project team to develop strategies and educational opportunities to help increase awareness of renewable energy in the general population. Coordinate major events including the 30th Anniversary Gala, the Solar Area at the Eco Experience, the Solar Boat Regatta & the MN Solar Tour. Manage Minnesota’s Solar Instructor Training Network grant for the Department of Energy. Facilitate Administration including memberships, classes, promotional work, data entry and Board Meetings. Manage all bookkeeping in Quickbooks Non-Profit Edition including member dues, bills, budgets and donations.

I was the lead organizer for MRES's 30th Anniversary Gala Event. I coordinated the venue and food, donations for the silent auction and raffle, promotions, tickets. We hosted Author Paul Hawken as our Keynote Speaker and Mayor Chris Coleman and Senator Amy Klobuchar as guest speakers. I worked the MRES booth at numerous environmental events, which is always available for your event to help educate people on renewable energy. Just let us know and we'll try to make it out there.

Helped to promote the Bike/Walk to Work Breakfast event and collect donations of food. 5 am wakeup to chalk the bike paths and get breakfast ready!! It was a great sucess this year, 300 people biked by for breakfast!

I attended all meetings for a multi-discipline work group organized to build a sustainable energy and job creation agenda. I also researched and documented climate change solutions creating a database using Microsoft Word and Excel documents comparing the cost of each project, estimated savings and amount of greenhouse gases reduced. These documents were going to be used as a resource for all work group members.
