Main activities and responsibilities:Build and implement efficient test automation solution for the LTE platformReview existing test approachImprove the overall platform qualityParticipate in manual test creation/execution where neededWork with dev leads on building test casesPerform functional, regression, load and stress testingPlan and implement full set of test automation activities: create, maintain and execute automated tests.Develop and extend in-house testing automation tools and test frameworksTake initiative and lead to optimize a length of test cycle and therefore time to market for new functionalityAnalysis and review of subsystem specifications and understand customer requirementsEstimation of development cost taking into account mandatory quality requirements for software submissionPreparation of sunny and rainy day test scenariosDevelopment of unitary tests and automated functional test casesCode review sessions, static code analysisInvestigate defects and bug reports, fix the bugs of the current features according to the Confluence documentation, analyze root cause as part of the product’s maintenancePreparation of test plan, test description, tools and tests scenariosWork "upstream" in partnership with design and other system integration/validation engineers to review designs and plans, recommend enhancements, and improve product quality results analysis; description of fault reports; feedback with designers; tests of correctionsReproduce and investigate fault reports coming from customerParticipate and discuss current status at daily Scrum meatingsSubversioning and maintaing multiple branches of the current feature: design version, current Drop version and Bug fixing branch.
